Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; East Hampton, NY

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at East Hampton, NY. The amendment of Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) based on the VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR), Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Area Navigation (RNAV) and Global Positioning System (GPS) at East Hampton Airport, NY, has made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAPs and for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
