Airbus Revises Airworthiness Directive for A310 Series Airplanes to Improve Safety

Airbus has revised its proposed airworthiness directive for the A310 series airplanes to add an optional modification that allows for the removal of repetitive inspections and tests, and to expand the applicability to more aircraft, in an effort to prevent potential safety issues with the universal joints on the slat system.
