FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for BAe Model ATP Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for British Aerospace BAe Model ATP airplanes to address wear damage on the nosewheel steering control cables and seizing of the cable pulleys. The directive aims to prevent nosewheel steering failure and NLG collapse, which could lead to injuries to flightcrew and passengers.
