CFTC Proposes Regulations to Protect Clearing Member Funds

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is proposing new regulations to ensure that clearing member funds are properly treated in the event of a derivatives clearing organization's bankruptcy, requiring segregation of funds and daily reconciliation of customer and clearing member balances.
