Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A321 Series Airplanes to Modify Evacuation Slide Systems

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring Airbus to modify the evacuation slide systems on certain A321 series airplanes to prevent loss of slides during flight, which could cause damage to the plane's tail section or prevent occupants from using certain exit doors in an emergency.
