Airworthiness Directives; British Aerospace Jetstream Model 3101 Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for British Aerospace Jetstream Model 3101 airplanes, requiring the installation of additional stringers at the lower fuselage skin panels to address a strength deficiency that could lead to reduced or loss of control during maximum speed limit operations. This directive is based on mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by the UK's airworthiness authority.
