GSA Announces Intent to Revise Credit Data on Individual Debtors System of Records

The General Services Administration is providing notice of a proposed revision to its Credit Data on Individual Debtors system, which will incorporate provisions from the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 to aid in debt collection by expanding the collection of taxpayer identification numbers and routine uses to include information sharing with credit reporting agencies, the IRS, and financial institutions.
