Fixed Satellite Service and Terrestrial System in the Ku-Band

This document extends the time to file comments on the Notice of Proposed Rule Making which published in the Federal Register of January 12, 1999, (64 FR 1786). Comments on this notice were due February 16, 1999, and reply comments were due on or before March 15, 1999. Pursuant to a request by the Boeing Company, the Commission is extending the time to file comments to afford interested parties the necessary time to coordinate and file substantive comments for the record. On February 5, 1999, the Commission released an Order (DA 99- 284) which grants Boeing's ``Motion for Extension of Time.''
