This document requests comments on a petition for rule making filed on behalf of Mountain West Broadcasting, requesting the allotment of Channel 278A to Thermal, California, as a first local aural transmission service. As Thermal is not incorporated or listed in the U.S. Census, information is requested regarding the attributes of that locality to determine whether it is a bona fide community for allotment purposes. Coordinates used for this proposal are 33-38-42 NL and 116- 08-30 WL.
