Digital Audio Broadcasting Systems and Their Impact on the Terrestrial Radio Broadcast Service

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering alternative approaches to introduce Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) to the US public, with a focus on either an in-band, on-channel (IBOC) model or a new spectrum model, in response to a petition from USA Digital Radio (USADR) to implement IBOC DAB technology.
