Hazardous Materials in Intrastate Commerce: Delay of Compliance Date, Technical Amendments, Corrections and Response to Petitions for Reconsideration

The US Department of Transportation's RSPA has delayed the compliance date for the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) to October 1, 1998, and made minor editorial changes to the original rule, which was published on January 8, 1997, to expand safety regulations for hazardous materials transportation across the US.
