US Department of Agriculture to Cover Some Expenses for Transporting and Disposing of Tuberculosis-Exposed Animals

The US Department of Agriculture is amending its regulations to allow it to reimburse herd owners for some expenses related to transporting and disposing of tuberculosis-exposed animals, in an effort to prevent the spread of the disease and promote its eradication in the US livestock population.
