Freedom of Information Act

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) seeks public comment on a proposed rule that would revise OMB's regulations implementing 5 U.S.C. 552, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). These revisions are being proposed to simplify and streamline OMB's FOIA regulations, as well as to implement the Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996 (Pub. L. 104-231).
