Atlantic Tuna Fisheries: General Category Subquota Attained, Fishery Closed

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has closed the General category fishery for October-December due to attainment of the 141 metric tons subquota, effective at 11:30 p.m. on October 5, 1997, to prevent overharvesting of the adjusted quota.
