New Zealand Government Sets Referendum Procedures for Kiwifruit Research Order

The New Zealand Department of Agriculture will conduct a referendum to determine if the proposed Kiwifruit Research, Promotion, and Consumer Information Order is approved by producers and importers, with a majority vote required for approval and 50% of total kiwifruit production and importation.
