EPA Awards Grants to States for Lead-based Paint Accreditation and Certification Programs

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to administer $3,548,910 in grants to states for establishing training, accreditation, and certification programs for professionals handling lead-based paint, as mandated by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992.
