EPA Announces Policy Revisions for National Priorities List of Hazardous Waste Sites

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is updating its policy for listing and deleting federal facility sites on the National Priorities List (NPL) of hazardous waste sites, as required by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA). The revised policy aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NPL process.
