US Army Releases Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Seneca Army Depot Activity in New York

The US Army has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the disposal and reuse of the Seneca Army Depot Activity in New York, in accordance with the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990. The DEIS evaluates the environmental impacts of the disposal and subsequent reuse of the entire installation, with the Army's preferred alternative being encumbered disposal of the property, which includes historical resources and remedial activities.
