NMFS Extends Public Comment Period for Highly Migratory Species Scoping Document

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has extended the public comment period for the scoping document on Highly Migratory Species (HMS) fishery management from December 1, 1997, to January 9, 1998, to allow more time for public review and comment on the proposed management measures.
