Kodiak Electric Association, Inc. Receives FONSI for Proposed Power Plant Project

Kodiak Electric Association, Inc. has received a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) from the Rural Utilities Service for a proposed 5.0 to 7.5 megawatt combustion turbine cogeneration power plant in Kodiak, Alaska. The project aims to increase power generation capacity and reliability for KEA customers, including the U.S. Coast Guard, while also providing steam for space heating.
