USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Timber Harvesting and Road Construction in Willamette National Forest

The USDA Forest Service plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for a proposal to harvest and regenerate timber, and construct and reconstruct roads in the Moose Subwatershed of the Willamette National Forest, with a tentative timeline spanning fiscal years 1998-2000 and in compliance with the 1990 Willamette National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan and the 1994 Northwest Forest Plan.
