USEPA Proposes Approval of Illinois State Implementation Plan Revision for General Conformity Rules

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revision to the Illinois State Implementation Plan (SIP) that enables the state to implement federal general conformity requirements for nonattainment and maintenance areas, allowing it to meet federal air quality standards at the state or local level.
