DHS/FEMA and SBA to Implement Computer Matching Program to Prevent Duplicative Disaster Assistance

The Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS/FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are implementing a Computer Matching program to prevent duplicative disaster assistance to individuals, businesses, including Private-Not-for-Profits (PNPs), and other entities for the same disaster or emergency losses. This program aims to verify eligibility for benefits and recover aid when duplication of benefits is identified.
