EPA Proposes Amendments to Air Pollution Regulations for Nonroad Compression-Ignition Engines

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed amendments to its regulations setting emission standards for large nonroad compression ignition engines and clarifies the scope of preemption of state and local nonroad emission standards, following a ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
