Nuclear Regulatory Commission Submits Revision to Licensee Event Report Information Collection for OMB Review

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a revision to its Licensee Event Report information collection for review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), seeking public comment on the proposal. The NRC requires holders of operating licenses for commercial nuclear power plants to report on occasion, with an estimated 1,600 responses per year, totaling approximately 80,000 hours of annual burden.
