NRC to Hold Public Workshop on Incorporating Risk Insights into Nuclear Regulatory Code

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is requesting public input on a proposal to incorporate risk insights into the Code of Federal Regulations 10 CFR 50.59, a regulation allowing licensees to make certain changes without prior NRC approval, with a public workshop scheduled for January 19, 1998.
