Tennessee Valley Authority Exempt from NRC Licensing Requirements for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plants

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has been granted an exemption from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for its Browns Ferry Nuclear Plants Units 1, 2, and 3. The exemption allows the TVA to operate the units without the need for a new license, effective immediately.
