U.S. International Trade Commission Investigates Rare-Earth Magnet and Magnetic Material Imports

The U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation into imports of certain rare-earth magnets and magnetic materials in the United States, following a complaint filed by Magnequench International, Inc. and Sumitomo Special Metals Co., Ltd. on July 31, 1998, alleging infringement of several U.S. patents.
