US FCC Denies Waelder's Petition for Channel 242A Allotment, Allocates to Yorktown, TX

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has denied a petition by Waelder Broadcasting Company to allot Channel 242A to Waelder, Texas, and instead allocated the channel to Yorktown, Texas, due to concerns over short-spacing conflicts with existing stations, and has obtained Mexican government concurrence for the allotment.
