FCC Amends Rules to Facilitate More Effective Use of 39 GHz Band

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has amended rules to improve the use of the 39 GHz band by implementing licensing by Basic Trading Areas and competitive bidding procedures, and expanding the regulatory framework to include service rules for mobile operations, aiming to increase competition and promote diversity of service offerings.
