1998 Biennial Regulatory Review

In the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking ("NPRM"), the Commission seeks comment or ways to simplify and make more uniform the Cable Television Service pleading and complaint process rules. This proceeding is initiated in conjunction with the Commission's 1998 biennial regulatory review. The intended effect of this proceeding is to reduce the regulatory burden on franchising authorities, cable operators, and other interested persons making filings under the rules.
