FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Alternative Sterility Testing Method for Sterile Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a draft guidance document that proposes alternative methods for confirming the integrity of container and closure systems for sterile biological products, human and veterinary drugs, and medical devices, in lieu of traditional sterility testing.
