US Issues Letter of Authorization for Marine Mammal Surveys in Gulf of America
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to Future Energy Consultants (FEC) for conducting geophysical surveys in the Gulf of America (GOA) that may incidentally harm marine mammals, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA)
