FDA Expands Safe Use of Vinyl-Containing Siloxanes in Paper and Paperboard Coatings

The FDA is amending regulations to allow the use of certain additives in paper and paperboard coatings that come into contact with food, following a petition from GE Silicones, and to increase the maximum allowed level of platinum in these coatings.
