FTC Grants Navistar Exemption from Disclosure Requirements for Franchising and Business Opportunity Ventures

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has granted a petition by Navistar International Transportation Corporation, exempting the company from certain disclosure requirements and prohibitions concerning franchising and business opportunity ventures. The exemption applies to the advertising and promotion of truck dealerships by Navistar, effective immediately.
