Medicare Program; Waiver of Recovery of Overpayments

The final rule updates Medicare regulations by duplicating sections from the Social Security Administration's regulations concerning waiver of overpayments, as the SSA is restructuring its regulations to apply only to the OASDI program. This ensures provisions applicable to the Medicare program are preserved.
