EPA Releases Draft Report on Environmental Releases and Announces Public Meeting

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is releasing a draft report on environmental contamination from non-hazardous waste management and is seeking public comment on the report. The EPA will also hold a public meeting to accept comments on the report, which was prepared in response to a 1996 consent agreement with the Environmental Defense Fund to investigate gaps in hazardous waste characteristics under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
