US Department Proposes Changes to Air Travel Rules for Passengers with Disabilities

The US Department of Transportation is proposing to amend its rules on seating accommodations and collapsible electric wheelchairs for individuals with disabilities, following comments on petitions received on the matter, and also seeks comment on a smoke-free path through airports for passengers with severe respiratory disabilities.
