Head Start Program

The Administration for Children and Families is issuing this final rule to implement the statutory provisions for establishing Program Performance Standards for Early Head Start grantees and Head Start grantee and delegate agencies providing services to eligible children from birth to five years and their families as well as pregnant women, and for taking corrective actions when Early Head Start or Head Start agencies fail to meet such standards.
