FDA Approves Enrofloxacin for Chicken and Turkey Mortality Control

The FDA is updating its regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application by Bayer Corp., allowing the use of enrofloxacin in drinking water to combat bacterial mortality in chickens and turkeys.
