DOE Extends Interim Waiver for General Electric Appliances' Clothes Washers

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has granted an extension to General Electric Appliances (GEA) for its Interim Waiver CW-004, which allows the company to continue selling clothes washers with non-traditional wash temperature selections and automatic water fill capability for an additional 180 days. This extension is part of the DOE's Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products.
