EPA Extends Durability Procedures for Light-Duty Vehicles and Trucks Indefinitely

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has published a direct final rule extending the applicability of interim durability procedures for light-duty vehicles and trucks until further notice, with the goal of streamlining vehicle emission compliance activities and avoiding less effective regulations starting from the 1999 model year.
