DOE Releases Final Environmental Impact Statement for Stockpile Stewardship and Management

The Department of Energy has made available the final programmatic environmental impact statement for the Stockpile Stewardship and Management, which assesses the environmental consequences of alternative methods for maintaining nuclear weapons safety and reliability without underground nuclear testing.
