Atlantic Tuna Fisheries to Close Due to Quota Attainment

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is closing the General category fishery for Atlantic bluefin tuna (ABT) effective November 26, 1996, at 11:30 p.m. to prevent overharvesting of the total U.S. quota, following the attainment of the Incidental category quota.
