Amendment to Class E Airspace, Sioux City, IA

This rule amends the Class E airspace area at Sioux Gateway Airport, Sioux City, IA. The effect of this rule is to provide additional controlled airspace for aircraft executing the new Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) at Sioux Gateway Airport and departing aircraft to transition into controlled airspace. In addition, this action corrects an inadvertent editorial error in the description of Class E5 airspace, deletes the reference to the Gateway NDB and adds the word Sioux to Gateway NDB in the Class 4 airspace that was published in the Federal Register on August 6, 1996 (61 FR 40719), Airspace Docket No. 96-ACE-11, Direct final rule, request for comments.
