Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Omaha, NE

This action amends the Class E airspace area at Eppley Airfield; Omaha, NE. The Federal Aviation Administration has developed Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) based on the Global Positioning System (GPS), installation of an Instrument Approach System (ILS) and amended other Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAP) which has made this change necessary. The effect of this rule is to provide additional controlled airspace for departing aircraft and deletes the extension to the southeast and reduces the extension to the northwest of the airport.
