Multifamily Mortgage InsuranceRisk-Sharing for Hospitals

The Department is proposing to expand the concept of risk- sharing to insuring mortgages to finance the new construction or rehabilitation of hospitals or improvement of hospitals. This program is structured under existing mortgage insurance authority. The program would provide a new form of credit enhancement for constructing and rehabilitating hospitals.
