Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Decision and Order Granting a Waiver from the Vented Home Heating Equipment Test Procedure to HEAT-N-GLO Fireplace Products, Inc.

The Department of Energy has granted a waiver to HEAT-N-GLO Fireplace Products, Inc. from the existing test procedure for vented home heating equipment, allowing the company to calculate Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) for its models more accurately, which will help reduce energy consumption and promote energy conservation.
