Emergency Closure of Public Lands in Monterey County, CA

The Department of the Interior has closed former Fort Ord lands in Monterey County, CA, to certain activities, including motorized vehicle use, trail access, and campfires, due to environmental remediation efforts, with some exceptions for authorized emergency response personnel and law enforcement officials.
