U.S. Army's Land Acquisition Project for National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, Receives Draft Environmental Impact Statement

The Bureau of Land Management has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the U.S. Army's proposed expansion of the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, which includes the withdrawal of approximately 310,296 acres of public lands and an amendment to the California Desert Conservation Area Plan.
